As students returned to school for a new academic year, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, shared a message of encouragement and hope on August 31, 2026. The message was delivered at Far Eastern Private School – Al Shahba and addressed to students across the school, marking the beginning of another year of learning, growth, and new opportunities.
The halls of FEPS – Al Shahba were once again echoed with the familiar sounds of conversations, laughter, and students making their way through the school. Classrooms welcomed back both familiar faces and new ones, while teachers prepared to guide their students through the months ahead. The return to school brought renewed energy and anticipation across campus.
To open the school year, a message from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was presented to the students in Arabic, the UAE’s official language, followed by an English translation led by the FEPS faculty. Students stood in front of their classrooms to listen to the message together, with each grade gathered in their respective blocks. Despite being in separate areas, the students listened in unison as they took part in this shared experience.
