The spirit of unity, excellence, and cultural pride filled the halls of Shabab Al Ahli Sports Club as the Far Eastern Private School—Al Shahba celebrated its 25th Founding Anniversary on May 23, 2026. Marking a milestone of silver legacy, the grand celebration gathered students, faculty members, parents, alumni, and distinguished guests in a vibrant showcase of talent, discipline, and FEPSian pride.

The program formally commenced with the grand entrance parade led by AEG Management, together with the PTCA officers. As the management made their way into the venue, they were greeted by the synchronized performances of the Majorettes, Flag Bearers, and Drum and Lyre Corps (DNL), which set a vibrant and celebratory tone for the opening.

The performances were guided by the choreography of Sir Hermis Rivera Cequiña for the majorettes and flag performers and Sir Ezekiel Managuelod for the DNL. Their combined presentation added rhythm, color, and grandeur to the ceremonial entrance, symbolizing unity and pride within the FEPS-Al Shahba community. The entrance of the administration and officers reflected strong leadership and unwavering commitment that have guided FEPS-Al Shahba throughout its 25 years of academic service and excellence.
The program continued with the solemn entrance of colors during the morning assembly, creating a dignified and patriotic atmosphere throughout the venue. Paula Mehetabel B. Arduo (Grade 9) led the singing of the United Arab Emirates National Anthem, followed by Martha Isabella Alexandra Carlos (Grade 8), who rendered the Philippine National Anthem. The ceremony was further solemnized through the Islamic Prayer led by Ridwan M. Nazareno (Grade 10) and the Christian Prayer delivered by Fhionna Ghavrielle Q. Tapia (Grade 10). The segment concluded with the recitation of the FEPS Vision and Mission by Chloe Jezmine D. Gochy (Grade 10), highlighting the institution’s dedication to academic excellence, values formation, and holistic development.
To maintain professional standards for the day’s competitive events, the introduction of the Board of Judges followed. Comprising esteemed educators and administrative leaders from FEPS sister schools, the panel provided impartial expertise for the field evaluations.

One of the most anticipated highlights of the celebration was the colorful street dance presentations, where students from different grade levels showcased their creativity, coordination, and cultural artistry. The performances featured participants from Kindergarten to Junior High School, each bringing energy and enthusiasm to the stage. Kindergarten 1AB, Kindergarten 2ABE, and Kindergarten 2CD delighted the audience with their charming routines, while Grades 1 to 6 impressed with synchronized movements and lively performances.
The momentum intensified as the junior high school students took center stage. Students from Grades 7 to 10 delivered powerful street dance performances filled with confidence, rhythm, and teamwork. Their presentations reflected months of preparation and dedication, earning cheers and applause from the audience.

The celebration became even more significant with the arrival of the event’s special guest, Philippine Consul General Ambrosio Brian F. Encisco III. His presence highlighted the importance of the occasion not only for the FEPS community but also for the Filipino community in the United Arab Emirates. The audience warmly welcomed the distinguished guest as he joined the institution in commemorating its silver founding anniversary.

The high school dance presentation further elevated the atmosphere of the event. Students from Grade 7ABC, Grade 7DE, Grade 8AB, Grade 8CD, Grade 9AB, Grade 9CD, Grade 10AB, and Grade 10CD captivated the crowd with dynamic choreography, showcasing the creativity, discipline, and camaraderie that define the FEPSian spirit.
As the first half of the celebration concluded, the atmosphere inside the venue remained filled with excitement, pride, and gratitude. The 25th Founding Anniversary of FEPS-Al Shahba served not only as a celebration of achievements and milestones but also as a reflection of the institution’s enduring legacy in shaping globally competitive and values-oriented learners.

The celebration further unfolded through a vibrant community dance presentation, where students from Grades 5 to 10 moved in unison in commemoration of FEPS-Al Shahba’s silver founding anniversary. Through synchronized choreography, spirited movements, and dynamic musicality, the performance embodied the collective pride and solidarity of the FEPSian community.
The cultural vibrance of the program continued with the succeeding performances from the Kindergarten Department, whose young learners charmed the audience with graceful cultural dances rich in color and tradition. Dressed in vibrant costumes and guided by youthful enthusiasm, the pupils delivered heartwarming presentations that celebrated heritage, creativity, and innocence. Their performances brought warmth and delight to the venue, reminding the audience that the spirit of culture and identity continues to flourish even among the youngins.

Elevating the atmosphere even further was the special performance of the Drum and Lyre Corps (DNL) in honor of the Philippine Consul General. Resonating through the venue with commanding rhythms and synchronized formations, the performance showcased not only musical precision and discipline but also the pride and excellence cultivated within the institution.

One of the major highlights of the afternoon was the presentation of the May Flower winners, followed by the pageant walk and coronation segment. Participants took the stage with confidence and composure, showcasing elegance and school spirit before the audience. The coronation recognized not only the students’ presentation and poise but also their confidence and personality, making the segment one of the most memorable parts of the anniversary celebration.

The celebration carried on with a series of performances from the Grades 4 to 6 Department, as students took the stage with vibrant dance presentations that energized the audience. Their routines showcased coordination, confidence, and enthusiasm, reflecting the hard work and preparation invested into each performance. The segment added a lively atmosphere to the program while highlighting the active participation and talent of the young FEPSians.
In recognition of the stunning performances showcased during the festival dance presentations, the official winners were announced on June 3, 2026, following the Eid holiday break. Students, teachers, and parents alike eagerly awaited the results. For the Intermediate Level (Grades 4-6), Grade 6AB (Kaamulan Festival) was named 3rd Runner-Up, Grade 5CD (Kadawayan Festival) secured 2nd runner-up, and Grade 4CD (Kalimudan Festival) earned 1st runner-up, while Grade 4AB emerged Champion with their rendition of the Lamilamihan Festival.

In the High School Level (Grades 7-10), Grade 9AB (Dinagyang Festival) was awarded 3rd Runner-Up, Grade 9CD (Pintaflores Festival) claimed 2nd Runner-Up, Grade 8CD (Sinulog Festival) was named 1st Runner-Up, and the Grade 7 Boys secured the championship title with their portrayal of the Ati-Atihan Festival. The awarding served as a meaningful culmination of the dance presentations, honoring the hard work invested by students, advisors, and the choreographers, respectively.

As the curtains gradually closed on the grand celebration, the 25th Founding Anniversary of FEPS-Al Shahba stood as a profound testament to the institution’s enduring legacy and transformative journey. Beyond the performances and festivities, the occasion became a celebration of resilience, excellence, and the countless individuals who have shaped the institution through the years. United by gratitude and shared aspirations, the FEPSian community commemorated not only a milestone in silver but also a legacy that continues to inspire generations toward a future anchored in purpose, service, and academic distinction.
