On Monday, April 20, 2026, Far Eastern Private School conducted a coordinated emergency drill across all campus blocks to ensure that students and staff were prepared to respond effectively to potential emergencies following the return to face-to-face classes.
The day began with an orientation that explained the different precautions, danger levels, and the steps the school would take in various scenarios. Students also learned about the different alarm signals, what they meant, and how to respond calmly and appropriately to prevent panic and stay safe.

School leaders organized the drill in coordination with FEPS’ Health and Safety Officer, Mr. Ronald Cabanada. Teachers and designated staffs were positioned at key areas to guide movement and ensure the smooth and safe execution of the activity.
Each class followed its assigned exit routes, supervised by teachers. Before leaving, classrooms were checked, and students headed straight to safe zones such as open areas or reinforced spaces away from windows and glass. Banners with class grade and section were displayed for quick identification and to help count everyone quickly.

During the lockdown and missile alert simulation, students practiced staying low, hiding from windows, and remaining silent while waiting for further instructions. Teachers kept order and made sure all safety procedures were followed carefully.
First aid kits were stationed in each safe zone, ready to provide immediate help for minor injuries until medical aid arrived.

Through this joint effort across all school blocks, FEPS emphasized how important coordination, discipline, and shared responsibility are in building a stronger sense of community and readiness for any emergency.
