Held from February 25 to 27, Entrepreneurship Week 2026 at Far Eastern Private School—Al Shahba transformed the campus into a lively hub of creativity and enterprise. Conducted separately in the boys’ and girls’ blocks, the event gave students the opportunity to step into the world of business, turning simple ideas into purposeful ventures. Throughout the week, the school buzzed with energy as young minds explored innovation, ambition, and the excitement of bringing their ideas to life.

The week formally began with a simultaneous parade of young entrepreneurs from both the boys’ and girls’ blocks, filling the girls’ block ground with energy and anticipation. This was followed by a short yet meaningful opening program, setting the tone for the days ahead.
Guided by the lively presence of emcees Misha Tan (10C) and Gwen Feratero (10D), the morning assembly began on a proud and respectful note with the national anthem, performed by Sophia Del Carmen (10D), Arts and Crafts Club President. This was followed by moments of reflection through an Islamic prayer led by Ridwan Nazareno (10A), Arabic and Islamic Club president, and a Christian prayer by Paula Arduo (9C). As the program continued, Chantal Uy (9D) presented the school’s vision and mission, followed by the beating of the FEPS hymn by Paula Arduo (9C). The atmosphere grew even more inspiring as Alessandra Palacio (9D) and Brianna Tito (10C), SSG president, delivered their opening messages, encouraging students to embrace creativity and initiative.

Bringing the ceremony to its official start, the school principal, Ms. Mary Jane P. Onato, shared her opening message—formally launching a week dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and the spirit of young entrepreneurship.
At the heart of the celebration was the much-anticipated FEPSVazar, where creativity and entrepreneurship came alive through a vibrant collection of student-led booths. The space buzzed with energy as students eagerly explored each stall, each one offering a unique glimpse into the talents and ideas of young entrepreneurs. From handcrafted items to interactive experiences, the bazaar became a lively hub of exchange, creativity, and connection.

Among the highlights was the photobooth, hosted by the Photography Club, where moments were captured and memories instantly turned into keepsakes. Just nearby, Likha Lab drew in visitors with its charming display of handmade creations, from delicate keychains and crafted flowers to personalized photocards—each piece reflecting creativity and care. These booths not only showcased artistic skill but also the dedication behind every handcrafted item.
Adding even more color to the bazaar, Colorcraft, a collaboration between multiple artistic clubs, stood out with its wide array of products and services. From cozy pajamas and recycled bags to handcrafted hair clips, the booth offered both creativity and sustainability. Guests also enjoyed interactive experiences such as henna art and face painting, turning the space into a canvas of expression. Meanwhile, Harmony Beats brought music into the mix by selling keychains inspired by album covers, while Swayze invited participants to step into motion through engaging dance sessions that filled the area with rhythm and energy.

In another corner, the Ecosphere booth offered a refreshing and meaningful experience, allowing participants to paint their own artworks and even plant their own seeds—symbolizing growth, creativity, and environmental awareness. Equally inspiring was the booth led by the SEND Department, which featured tote bags and artworks thoughtfully curated with the help of students under the spectrum, highlighting inclusivity and the beauty of diverse talents.

Completing the bazaar were booths from grades 4 to 6, along with other student groups, offering a variety of items such as bracelets, stickers, photocards, and posters. Though simple, these creations added to the lively atmosphere, reflecting the enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit shared across all grade levels. Together, the booths of FEPSVazar transformed the campus into a marketplace of ideas, creativity, and youthful ambition.

As the week came to a close, the energy of the bazaar and the spirit of entrepreneurship lingered far beyond the booths and activities. More than just a showcase of products, the event became a celebration of creativity, initiative, and the courage to turn ideas into reality. Each student, whether a seller, creator, or supporter, played a part in bringing the experience to life—proving that even the smallest ventures can spark the biggest dreams. In the end, the week stood as a reminder that with passion, collaboration, and determination, young minds are more than capable of shaping their paths forward.
