A reflective poem that highlights today’s environmental struggles while encouraging collective action toward conservation and a more sustainable future.

Our environment isn’t as safe as the past,
New problems arrive with such a vast.
Endangerment threats arise with speed,
The need to save our Mother Nature almost a plead.

Trees are chopped off, animals fading from extinction,
Perhaps the world we wished for will only be fiction.
But worry not, as we will grow once again,
And soon, our cooperation will make it normal by then.

The 5 Rs, conservation, sustainability—name it,
We can help preserve this world, even if it’s just a little bit.
Stop the single-use plastics, stop the ‘slash and burn,’
Do you want the environment we want only a yearn?

Mother Nature, environment, Earth, it comes with many names,
But nevertheless, we have to treat it better, for it’s all the same.
More trees are growing, some animals aren’t endangered anymore,
Now we only have to do a few more.

We must treat the world and make it a better place,
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a world with such grace?
