By: Louisse Anne V. Barza of Grade 8C – Aristotle

A reflective poem that reminds readers that life is not a race and that true success comes from growth, patience, and embracing one’s own journey.

Life’s not a contest—
no finish line,
no need to rush,
no need to shine.

Like a house bought now,
with more years to come,
the Lord won’t judge
where you’re from.

Happiness will come
to greet you soon,
or fill your home
beneath the moon.

Don’t cry—
get up,
give it a try.

A career that soars
or takes its time—
success is found
in the climb.
