Far Eastern Private School (FEPS) Al Shahba celebrates the remarkable success of Kurt Yuan Xyrus Evangelista of Grade 8B–Darwin, who showed outstanding FEPSian spirit and talent on the world court.

Kurt, a skilled and passionate young athlete, played for the Philippines at the Euro Easter Basketball Cup 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. Going up against tough teams, including young athletes from Spain and Norway, Kurt and his teammates put on a great show and grabbed an impressive First Runner-Up spot. His effort and dedication stood out during the entire tournament, making everyone, especially at FEPS, proud.

During the competition, coaches and spectators witnessed Kurt’s exceptional gameplay, where he averaged 11.5 points per game. His calmness, fairness, and fervor left a deep impression on his teammates and opponents alike, earning admiration and respect from everyone who watched him play.
Kurt’s accomplishment gives powerful inspiration to all FEPSians. It is not just a personal victory but also a reminder to all dreamers that through hard work, effort, and perseverance, young hearts such as students can reach excellence beyond the classroom. Kurt’s success shows an apparent strong FEPSian spirit—proving that dreams, with determination and drive, are possible.

Kurt’s basketball journey has been remarkable through his previous milestones. In November 2024, he was honored as the Most Valuable Player during the All-Filipino Inter-GCC Cup held in Bahrain. This recognition made him one of the rising stars in the world of sports and furthered his potential for even greater breakthroughs.
FEPS Al Shahba proudly congratulates Kurt Yuan Xyrus Evangelista and his family for this inspiring achievement. We remain committed to supporting our students as they pursue their dreams, proudly upholding the FEPSian values of excellence, determination, and honor.
