To educate students about the importance of the ocean and the Philippines’ status as a maritime nation, Ms. Paola Belle D. Ebora, Vice Consul of the Philippines in Dubai, and her team paid a visit to FEPS (Al Shahba) on October 4, 2022.
Grade 3 FEPSians gathered in the Girls’ Block Activity Room to partake in the workshop delivered by the crew of the Philippine Consulate General. The Youth for the Environment Club, headed by their adviser, Ms. Marvi Machica, facilitated the event.
The activity began with the telling of a story entitled “Bayan ng Basura.” Soon after was the making of origami art, which the pupils particularly enjoyed. With instructions and materials to create origami fish, the day ended with a fun project to mark newly acquired knowledge.
