To explore today’s modern innovations in a global exhibition, the high school students of Far Eastern Private School (Al Shahba) took an educational field trip to Expo 2020 Dubai on May 1, 2023.
The “World Expo” or “World Exposition” happens in many nations to display the latest developments. Expo 2020 occurred in the UAE because of its growth throughout its 51 years.
During the field trip, students got sorted into their grades and sections, touring across different pavilions. Some learned about the forests and oceans in the Sustainability Pavilion called Terra; others learned about robots and waste management systems in the Alif Pavilion; and the rest learned about the accomplishments of women in the Women’s Pavilion.
FEPSians then took a train ride back to their school buses, ending the day with newfound knowledge.
