FEPS Shahba marked the observance of International Peace Day through their very first morning assembly of the school year, held in both respective blocks.
The program was led by the newly elected Supreme Student Government (SSG) officers, who delivered their first official presentation to every class. During the assembly, each officer had discussed the origin of Peace Day, highlighting its establishment by the United Nations in 1981 and its annual commemoration every September 21.
They emphasized the importance of the occasion, noting that peace is not only a worldwide aspiration but also a guiding principle that students can practice within the school community.
The event concluded with the acknowledgment of the SSG’s efforts in promoting awareness and fostering a culture of respect and harmony among FEPSians, Assigned students had also shared their poems and presentations, such as Vince Penuliar for the Boy’s Block (10A) and Elise Palalay (8D).
Their efforts served as an inspiring start to the school year, reminding all FEPSians of their role in fostering unity, harmony, and positive change within and beyond the school walls.
