On the 20th of October 2025, Far Eastern Private School Al Shahba hosted an Interschool Leadership Youth Camp, alongside its four other sister schools under the Al Ansari Education Group, under the theme “Empowered Leaders, Building Stronger Communities,” which cultivates the participants’ knowledge about leadership and its skills.
In a world that thrives through collaboration, Far Eastern Private School (Al Shahba), Far Eastern Private School (Halwan), New Filipino Private School (Sharjah), New Filipino Private School (RAK), and The Universal Private School (Al Ain) came together in the FEPS (Al Shahba) to strengthen and enhance their skills of leadership through camaraderie and service-driven goals.

Absorbing lessons that shape tomorrow’s changemakers.
The start of the program commenced as the students were free to meet and connect with new faces. The event started off with a getting-to-know session wherein students were tasked to meet and greet a minimum of five students, one from each campus.
Subsequently after, the program transitioned to a segment of national pride where Brianna Faye Tito, President of the Supreme Student Government (SSG) of FEPS (Al Shahba), led the singing of the UAE National Anthem, followed by the spirit of grace as other student leaders initiated the Islamic and Christian prayers.

After the prayers, Ms. Seprina T. Sangcajo, Academic Supervisor, delivered her Remarks of Circumstance, emphasizing that true leadership is grounded in service and responsibility. The program continued with a morning energizer led by Kim Magdaraog, where student leaders from different campuses actively participated and built camaraderie through engaging activities.
The sessions focus on developing key leadership qualities. Ms. Mary Jane P. Onato discussed understanding leadership styles, Ms. Lovely Grace Mapola emphasized communication skills, and Mr. Abdul Ruhullah Macalilay highlighted the values of organization and teamwork. Mr. Rodulfo Aquina Jr. then tackled building self-confidence, followed by Mr. Hermis Ramil Cequina Jr., who discussed setting personal and group goals to achieve effective collaboration.

The event concluded with an open forum and awarding ceremony, capped by the closing remarks delivered by Mr. Ronron Tenorio, who expressed appreciation to the facilitators, participants, and organizers for their active involvement.
The program ended on an inspiring note as student leaders carried with them the essence of the theme “Empowered Leaders, Building Stronger Communities.” The Interschool Leadership Youth Camp concludes with hearts full of inspiration and purpose. Beyond the lessons and laughter, each participant departs as an empowered leader, ready to create change, uplift others, and build stronger communities. United in spirit and vision, they carry forward the flame of leadership that will continue to shine long after the camp ends.
