Far Eastern Private School formally opened its 25th Silver Edition Intramurals on November 27, 2025, at the FEPS Main Campus, carrying the theme “One Goal, One Spirit, One FEPS: 25 Years of Intramural Excellence.” The event marked a significant milestone as the school celebrated a quarter-century of promoting sportsmanship, unity, and school pride.
Intramurals 2025 Opening: Let the Games Begin!
The program began with the assembly and parade of participants from Kindergarten to High School, joined by school officials and PTC members. This was followed by the UAE and Philippine National Anthems and the opening prayers—an Islamic prayer led by Arhaan Ali Shuja and a Christian prayer led by Martha Isabella Alexandra C. Carlos.

Students reaffirmed the school’s core principles through the reading of the FEPS Vision by Christen Faith Ludovice, the Mission Statement by Enrique Andrei Mayuyo, and the singing of the FEPS Hymn led by Brianne A. Arcena.
Opening Highlights: Torch Lighting & Oath of Sportsmanship
FEPS Al Shahba Principal Ms. Mary Jane P. Onato delivered her opening remarks, officially initiating the festivities.

One of the significant moments was the Lighting of the Torch, carried by team captains Misha Dlemish M. Tan, Gwyneth Queen H. Feratero, Fhionna Ghavrielle A. Tapia, and Chloe Jezmine D. Gochy.

Afterward, Aaron Garcia of Grade 10 led the Oath of Sportsmanship, emphasizing fairness, respect, and unity. The Maharlika Dance Troupe then energized the crowd with a wellness dance before Academic Educational Supervisor Ms. Seprina T. Sangcajo officially declared the 25th Silver Edition Games open.

Meet the Teams and Representatives
This year’s intramurals feature four competing teams:
- Blue – Sapphire Stingers
- Pink – Pink Panthers
- Red – Embercrest Lynxes
- Green – Iguana Armada
Each team introduced two representatives from the girls’ and boys’ divisions who will compete for the title of Mr. & Ms. Intramurals 2025.

Girls’ Division
- Blue Team: Sophia Alexiah Milan (High School), Shermel Zy-an B. Fernandez (Intermediate)
- Pink Team: Althea Ehmrylle Balicanta (High School), Yzabelle Raulo (Intermediate)
- Red Team: Kate Ashley Sutacio (High School), Princess Jaimie Chen Quilay (Intermediate)
- Green Team: Lady Michelle Jamandri (High School), Aya Nicole Konaka (Intermediate)

Boys’ Division
- Blue Team: Chris Andrei Santos (High School) & Brayden Balondo (Intermediate)
- Pink Team: Karl Rodrigues (High School) & Ramiro Adriel Espinosa (Intermediate)
- Red Team: David Khalel Lim (High School) & Dareen Quibin (Intermediate)
- Green Team: Justin Ryle Pabalan (High School) & Andrei Mayuyo (Intermediate)

Talent Portion and Awarding Ceremony
After the introduction of candidates, the program moved to the Talent Portion, where representatives showcased their skills and creativity. This segment highlighted that FEPSians are not only academically inclined but also talented in various fields.

Following the performances, the Awarding Ceremony announced the winners of Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2025.
Intermediate Girls

- 1st Runner-Up: Shermel Zy-an B. Fernandez (BLUE)

Candidates proudly wore their sashes as the crowd awaited each announcement, making the moment both nerve-wracking and exciting.
Kicking Off the Games
After the formal program, students participated in various sports events—from basketball to table tennis—representing their teams with pride while still demonstrating camaraderie and sportsmanship.

The opening of Day 1 was truly a celebration of talent, teamwork, and school spirit. From inspiring performances to the competitive yet friendly start of the games, FEPSians set a vibrant tone for the days of competition that lie ahead.
