The first month of 2026 is almost over,
and I feel like I should start all over.
I didn’t achieve my goals in 2025,
and I feel like a fresh start will make it right.
Most of my goals are the same, but some are different;
it wouldn’t even matter if I didn’t complete any of them.
This doesn’t mean 2025 me was disappointing;
it’s just so many missed opportunities—it’s annoying.
So, this year, 2026, I’ll be better,
and be sure to cook and not fumble.
I just hope I’ll improve more on my 2025 self,
’Cause every year we have to be a better version of ourselves.
I just hope 2026 will be fun and unpredictable,
so I can adapt and learn about myself better.
