To officially begin the competition, the students from FEPS Al Shahba brought the tale of “How the Frogs Went to Heaven” to life, showcasing outstanding performances. As they put together captivating and emotive narratives, the students fully embrace their roles and bring the words to life. Leaving the audience drawn into their world by the deliberateness of every gesture, voice tone, and pause within the speech. Every performance displayed their dedication to their craft. By using their expressive delivery and creative imaginations, they create a world so immersive that the stage’s limits seem to disappear as they turn the setting’s simplicity into a strength.

Meanwhile, NFPS’ readers theater students captivated the audience with “The Future of Tomorrow,” a thought-provoking story about humanity’s decisions and the path forward. Set in a world where history has been forgotten, the story followed a group of young idealists who discover an ancient archive filled with knowledge. Their choice—to resurrect the past or forge a new path—symbolized the immense responsibility of shaping the future. The performance inspired the audience while teaching the students the true meaning of leadership and teamwork. The NFPS students proved with “The Future of Tomorrow” that they are more than just actors; they are visionaries who are adding to the story of what is to come.

Moreover, the students from FEPS Halwan delivered an inspiring speech titled “Voices of Bravery: The Power of Speaking Up.” The narrative combined moments of fear, persistence, and victory as it explored the lives of people who dared to speak out against injustice and use their voices to inspire change. Both the audience and the kids themselves were greatly influenced by the performance. The performance served as a reminder that when people come together, even the smallest voices can inspire change. “Voices of Bravery” was more than simply a tale to the Halwan students; it was a call to action for everyone to stand by what they believe in. With “Voices of Bravery,” Halwan showed that the readers theater is about inspiring change, one voice at a time, rather than just simply telling stories.

It’s not about showing a play—Readers theater is about participation. These child actors in FEPS Al Shahba, FEPS Halwan, and NFPS have a narrative to share and a script to express, and if the performance goes well, it’s because they all become one. They become the stories; they become them.

At this competition, FEPS Halwan was able to receive the highest score with an outstanding 27 points, while FEPS Al Shahba and NFPS similarly scored 25 points. All of the performers received a round of applause when the event came to an end, demonstrating that their ability to engage with the audience is what really makes them great, regardless of the score.
