November 21, 2022 — Testing their knowledge of UAE history, FEPSians of Grades 7-10 gathered in the activity room to compete in the Social Studies Quiz Bee.
Grades 7-8 competed against each other in a separated quiz bee from that of the Grades 9-10. To quiz about the most well-known historical facts about the United Arab Emirates, participants presented their answers on white boards, individually gathering points.
To determine the contestants’ final positions, Ms Catherine Sabino, the Social Studies instructor who organized and facilitated the activity, tallied their scores afterwards.
The winners of Grades 7-8 were Aisha Venice De Jesus who won 3rd place, Raphael Frio who earned 2nd place, and Jomuel Untalan who placed first. On the other hand, the winners of Grades 9-10 were announced as John Carl Arellano in 3rd place, Faith Ainika Tuason in 2nd place, and Klarrize Antoinette Dela Pena as the champion.
