The celebration was led by the Islamic and Arabic Department, honoring the teachings and remembrance of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The day began with a morning assembly, led by the Supreme Student Council and the School Activity Coordinator.
Students from the elementary department showcased their beautiful Arabic conversation. They shared facts such as the Prophet’s humanism towards different cultural groups and his dedication to promoting peace. Additionally, they described the morals of the Prophet, highlighting kindness and patience in his dealings with others. Students also presented on topics like the importance of honesty and humility, reflecting vibrant learning outcomes. The event later progressed with a Q&A session related to his prophethood, during which students proudly answered with confidence.
The celebration successfully concluded with a photo opportunity featuring all the Muslim students and teachers, honoring unity, peace, and faith.
Throughout the world, many Muslims commemorate the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, known as Mawlid, as a cultural and religious practice. Mawlid holds great significance for Muslims, as it is a time to reflect on the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), emphasizing his role as a messenger of peace and compassion. It is claimed to be a way to express love for the Prophet through prayers, gatherings, and celebrating his birth. Acts of kindness and charity abound.
