Green and Yellow Teams are the Champions for 2021 Far Eastern Private School (FEPS) Intramurals of Basketball, with their last-second shots claiming victory, earning the players spots in the mythical 5, on the 3rd and 4th day of Intrams.
The Yellow Sinobeez Boys are guided by Rendell Maycong, while Grette Manbiotan was at the forefront for Green Pfizer Feroz Warriors Girls.
In the last few seconds, both Yellow Sinobeez and Green Pfizer Feroz Warriors were able to hit the final shots deciding and securing the game.
The games between Pink Maskins and Green Pfizer Feroz Warriors were held on the 30th of November, while the heated match of Pink Maskins against Yellow Sinobeez was on the 5th of December.
In the match between Pink Maskins and Green Pfizer Feroz Warriors Girls, the game was neck and neck with both teams at a standstill. But then the green team was able to pull ahead and continued the momentum gaining 2 points right before the game ended, finishing the game with a 6-8 score in favor of the green team with Fouzia Khan as the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
In the finals between Yellow Sinobeez and Pink Maskins Boys, the match was a heated one, not letting the other team ahead for a second. Both Carl Beltran and Rendell Maycong looked for the momentum they needed. As the game looked grim for Yellow Sinobees, Eron Ognita was able to pull off a fantastic shot from the three-point line, which not only gained him the spot of MVP but it was also the game-winning shot claiming championship for Yellow Sinobees.
As the Intramurals ended, the mythical 5 were shown, with each player harboring their own set of skills. With Enzo Ognita, Rendell Maycong, Ernest George, Carl Taguinod, and Eron Ognita for the boys while Cara Ramirez, Alysson Surla, Althea Laxamana, Aaliyah Calape, and Fouzia Khan for the girls.
