When the rise of the mental health movement started, the world came about to become aware of and accept it. Though there are still some who do not acknowledge it, the mental health movement and the ever-growing awareness of it have indeed changed others for the better. So, keep up with the times. Far Eastern Private School sought to show its support for the movement and its students by reinstating its PCB system for the school year 2023-2024.

Peer Conversation Buddy, better known as the PCB, are designated students in higher grades who are well-trained to provide mental and emotional to all those who need it. Though they are not professionals, they are students who care for the student population who struggle on campus and direct them to the guidance counselor if they require further help.

The Supreme Student Government created the PCB system in the school year 2022-2023 to help launch their mental health campaign that focuses on reaching students who are from getting the help they receive or do not have the courage to talk about their problems to the adults around them. This objective was made possible to achieve via the PCB system that they have created.

With the widespread coverage of mental health and its other effects, awareness about it has risen but that does not stop the fact that people have to stop learning about it. Taking care of one’s mental well-being is a goal that the PCB system wants to achieve, the reinstating of the PCB system during the school year 2023-2024 is something that has drastically helped the students of Far Eastern Private School (Shahba Campus).
