Months of summer vacation have ended for FEPSians, which means it will be another year of new classes, fresh faces, and knowledge. Students were asked about what they’ve been up to and shared their most unforgettable moments during their break. Here are some of their responses:
I spent most of my summer break in the comfort of my own home, it was honestly quite boring, nonetheless, I still had fun keeping myself busy with all the time I had on my hands. The most memorable would probably (be) me trying new things. With all the time I had for myself, I was able to develop my skills and found new hobbies that I continue to enjoy until now.

I spent my summer break going to many hotels, swimming on the beach, playing in the park, and staying home. The most unforgettable memory for me was when I went to a hotel with my friends and family and we also had a pajama party there and swam in the pool.

A lot of us yearn to have a peaceful summer, to just stay at home, maybe hang out with a few friends and do chores when needed, a lot of us are like this FEPSian who shared their experience during their vacation:
I spent my summer break attending church on weekends and just lazing around all day during the weekdays. My most memorable summer break was during (the) online class because my friends and I used to play and enjoy the whole lockdown thing. I met a lot of new friends online and spent a lot of time with them and yeah.

Summer is a time when people spend their moments outdoors and create activities along with the warm weather. For most people, it’s a time to just sit back, relax, and make the best use of their break. These are the kind of moments we all look forward to and look back fondly on.
Just as the lyrics from one of Taylor Swift’s song, “Summer went away, still, the yearning stays.” We all wish summer would last longer and we can all agree that everything went by so fast. But with every ending, comes new beginnings, which means it’s time to gear up for another school year and flourish as we welcome our new beginnings.
