Far Eastern Private School (Al Shahba) held its Family Fun Day on December 10, 2022, to unite the school community and strengthen connections among students, parents, and faculty.
The event was a resounding success, with families participating in a variety of activities throughout the day.
One of the major highlights of the event was the outdoor games and sports that were available for families to play together. There was a wide variety of sports to choose from, including basketball, which had a large and energetic crowd, and volleyball, which did for an intense and fun game. Besides these popular sports, all participants enjoyed other exciting activities. Sir Jeffrey Maraviles and Sir Nelson Patungan made the games even more fun to watch thanks to their spiffing hosting. Parents had the opportunity to join the sporting events, which was a splendid chance for families to bond and have fun together.
According to SSG Grade 10 representative Lance Cruz, the atmosphere at the main ground was “very hyped and entertaining,” with a lively and fun-filled vibe. In addition to the athletic activities, there was a delicious selection of food available for everyone to enjoy.
Parents contributed to the festivities by bringing a variety of dishes to share at the KG Block, creating an impressive spread of food that was enjoyed by all. There were dishes ranging from traditional Filipino favorites to international cuisines, letting everyone find something they could enjoy.
The Family Fun Day was also an opportunity for parents to get involved in the school community and connect with their children’s education. Many parents took part in the sports games and other activities, providing a splendid chance for families to bond and have fun together.
Overall, Family Fun Day was a tremendous success and a fantastic way for FEPS Al Shahba to strengthen connections among its students, parents, and faculty. The combination of sports, food, and a sense of community made for a memorable day for everyone involved.
